He was a great president. And was killed because of it. We will never know who did it-by the time the documents are released, we'll be dead. I notice that no one here has a clue what he did.
Vietnam was LBJ. He escalated it while JFK would have ended it(According to Defense Secretary Robert McNamara). On June 4, 1963, a little known attempt was made to strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the government at interest. On that day President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order No. 11110 that returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Federal Reserve. Mr. Kennedy's order gave the Treasury the power "to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury." This meant that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury's vault, the government could introduce new money into circulation. In all, Kennedy brought nearly $4.3 billion in U.S. notes into circulation. The ramifications of this bill are enormous. Add to that many other times JFK bucked the powers that be. He was planning to end oil subsidies as well. Many wanted him dead.

JFK's father Joe, Sr. bought the Presidency for him by using the mob to bribe officials in the state of West Virginia to win the state. He played the center and never went too far left or right. Helping him was a very sympathetic press. He and his wife were very photogenic and JFK was a good communicator and was relaxed and charming on camera.
On foreign policy he was fair. Nikita Khrushchev made JFK look like a light weight during their first encounter. He checkmated Khrushchev over the Cuban missiles. But there was the Bay of Pigs debacle and JFK supported the military coup that lead to the murder of President Diem of Vietnam.
It's hard to judge his presidency because it was cut short. He did not live to see how he would have dealt with the escalating crisis in Vietnam and civil rights.
JFK was killed by a lone assassin; a pathetic loser named Oswald.
Before his assassination the public was equally divided in their opinion of him. His tragic death immortalized him.
I'd rate JFK as good but not great.

JFK was a very popular president who's programs were not very successful. He had a hell of a good time and he went out as a hero. He would not have survived today's political arena. I'm going with Oswald as the shooter until evidence comes forward to point elsewhere.

Lyndon B Johnson Had Him Killed So He could Continue
to capitalize on the Vietnam War.
Lyndon was VP but also had a major stake in a company called Brown And Root- they supplied the US military with much of the supplies they used In Vietnam.
It started small but eventually became the largest industrial company in the world. Then it Merged with another company and changed its named to KBR and from there it was Merged with Halliburton and since has spun off again.
Its like Hot potato with Brown and Root but its still the same people that own it
they just move it around to confuse the public.....
and yes Kennedy I think was a good president.

Eh. He was ok. Had his good points. Had his bad points.
Who really killed him? Lee Harvey Oswald. That is a fact. You can make a fair enough argument that he may have been put up to it, but there is no denying (based on fact and reason) that he pulled the trigger that killed Kennedy.

I think he's touted as a fabulous president, and his 1000 days in office only caused controversy.
He tried and failed to have Castro assassinated. I'd like to believe that Oswald acted alone, but I'm not so sure I believe it. I'm not so sure I believe or buy into what the Warren Commission has to say about it.

Impossible to tell, not in office long enough. He did aim high on his extramarital affairs (Marilyn Monroe) in contrast to his protege Bill Clinton (Lewinsky, Paula Jones)
Oswald really killed JFK. Yes, I used to be skeptical myself but I absolutely believe it now.

Good president.
Lee Oswald didn't kill him because the bullet came from the front, not the back, which was where Oswald was standing. (Zapruder film shows it.)
Oswald was a patsy.

I'd give him a B. He got us into the mess that was Vietnam but on the other hand he helped end segregation.
