I got a band t and it is kinda stiff. I tried soaking it in fabric softener, but that didn't help much. Any ideas?

Wash you T-shirt in cold water, Use liquid detergent for wool, rinse well, this will soften your T-shirt

i suggest just washing a lot. throw it in the wash with other things even if it's not dirty. most fabrics are treated with chemicals to help maintain a garments shape. these chemicals are temporary so several washings should take care of that. i wouldn't use fabric softener basically because it creates a barrier on the fibers preventing the garment from absorbing water. so the softness that fabric softeners achieve is also chemical and temporary, it doesn't really alter the composition of the fibers, just gives the illusion it does. vintage band shirts that have that soft almost transparent quality are awesome and to get that naturally, you'll just have to wear it and wash it alot.

I'd just wash it repeatedly in warm water using liquid fabric softener, put it in the dryer with a fabric softener dryer sheet, and if it's still not soft enough I'd use Downey wrinkle release (got mine from Target next to the Febreze) and spray that all over to relax the fabric fibers.

After machine washing it, rest your load size setting, then add liquid softener to the machine & ket it go through just a rinse cycle. Dry it in the dryer according to instructions.
