Yes. I have myself in the game as a gay guy, I have 2 kids by two different guys. I have about 4 or 5 gay couples and 2 lesbian couples. I have a lesbian alien with an african baby. lol
I have the inseminator which allows for you to mix genetics with gay couples in the game. you can get that from inseminator.com Most of my gay sims are Romance sims.
I have a gay in the military career track.
I have a gay politician who cheated on his wife with the gay sim me. lol. I have gay hair dressers with the Open For Business pack.

Yes you can make gay sims, you can't make them a flaming homosexual, but you can be married to another male Sim, if you want to a kid you will have to adopt them. If you kiss another Sim your partner will divorce you.
I haven't made any lesbian couples but I would assume it's the same for them as well.

lol in the Sims 2 you can. You can even make them get married. they don't start off gay, but there are ways to make them fall in love with same sex Sims. You know... it actually seems easier, now that I think about it.

Yes, in the Sims 2 when I created families, I made a same sex couple...to have diversity in the neigborhood. I actually started the couple of being spouses.
Like the guy above me, I had a guy get pregnant too! He and his wife were pregnant at the same time.

Yep you can they can even be Joined which is homosexual version of marriage. I've have a joined male couple in my game. Have had a few other gay / lesbians sims before.

I myself am addicted to that game and so is my friend. she made a gay sim once and had her movie in with the other girl ... lol it was funny...

yes you can, i've done it several time. the more you talk and befriend the other sim you increase there relationship, eventually they can kiss and sleep in the same bed together

I love Sims.
Yes I have gay and lesbian people in my town. I also have a serial killer! I try to have a very diverse population.
