I have been on Birth Control for 7 years, I also have Endometriosis, i have had 4 Laparoscopy's to have it removed.

I am on Birth control and My period has been going on for 13 days with really large Blood Clots. My doctors office is closed until Thursday and I am Worried. Is this something to get worried about? Is it related to my Endo??

anytime your period last more than 7 days something is wrong, if you are having heavy bleeding with blood clots don't want to alarm you but this needs to be checked out asap even if it means the ER, would discontinue b/c and sex until this is sorted out your body is telling you something is wrong!

And what birth control are you on?

I would call up the doctor who prescribed the birth control to you on Thursday and talk to them about your concerns.

your pills may have not worked correctly is there a chance you could have gotten pregnant? some antibiotic and other medications can make the pill ineffective. if you think you have lost too much blood then go to the ER.

IT COULD VERY POSSIBLY BE RELATED TO YOUR ENDO I'D CONTACT ANOTHER OFFICE NEAR BY TO ASK IF THEY HAVE ANY OPENINGS, THAT DOESNT SEEM USUALL AT ALL ID BE WORRIED TO IF I WERE YOU. i'D FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR TO SEE UNTIL THURSDAY BUT IF YOU WANT TO WAIT MAKE SURE YOU GET IN ON THURSDAY ASAP!!!!
