I have been thinking about teaching crochet from my home. I would appreciate any tips and advice that would help me out in this endeavor. If anyone has taught crochet and can tell me how to go about it, I would be very grateful. Thanks!

It would be useful for you to observe a class that is taught by someone else. That way, you can get tips. Find a class at your local yarn/craft shop.

Be aware that there may be some regulations in your area that you have to be licensed, or have a tax ID if you run a business out of your home. Here where I live the definition of a "business" is any activity that you charge money for.

I have taught crochet classes at my church for years. There are several great handouts on the web, do a search and make sure that they can be used (copyright laws & such) It helps to have hand outs with pictures so that when they go home they can continue working. I believe that CGOA has an outline for teaching that might help.
One thing that helps the students is a granny square swap after the class is done. It helps them get a nice project done (can either do an afghan or scarf) and feel they have accomplished something.

I have not taught crochet, but I have been a crocheter for about 40 years. You can contact a local crafts store that sells crochet/knitting supplies and ask about classes and see what their requirements are.

For me, soreness of Salvation's "Scarsick" replaced right into an excellent enable-down. Their in the past albums "the appropriate ingredient" and "therapy Lane" have been lots of the superb releases in prog music, so i replaced into enormously excited as quickly as I heard they have been liberating a clean album final January. regrettably, i presumed "Scarsick" replaced into musically obnoxious, and an excellent sort of of the lyrics unquestionably made me draw back. "Flame to the Moth" and "Disco Queen" are fantastic, yet this album replaced into between the biggest disappointments of the final 365 days. Btw, large PT reference on your question. :)
