As far as I am aware, all the tennis in the Olympics have been played on the surface most favoured by that country. It was hard court in Atlanta and Sydney in 1996 and 2000 respectively but not sure of Athens in 2004. From this 2012 should be played on grass and at the All England Club at Wimbledon.

There will not be a change at the club so grass will be the surface tennis players can expect in 2012.

As far as I know, it will be played on grass at the All England Club at Wimbledon. Also there will be a roof over Centre Court then, so expect matches to be played with the roof on at the time.
