How do I check in windows vista which video card i have?

A lot of pcs have video integrated into their motherboard. Some have separate cards. You can take off the side if its a desktop a see it. AGP, PCI, or PCI express are the usual choices. Look up Belarc Advisor in a search--download it--it will tell you everything in your pc.

I dont have Vista but I know I always just did this:

Start->Run

Then from Run you type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes)
After the screen appears you want to go to the Display tab and it'll list your card and its specs.

Rt click on your desktop, click on properties, click on settings, click on advanced, click on the adapter tab. It will list your video card here.

you can download the belarc advisor, it will tell you your video card and everything else about your computer.
