Didn't you just ask this? As someone so young you need your parents full support. You can't get yourself anywhere and you cannot legally sign contracts so you need them to be fully behind your decisions. You also need someone who can basically be there for you full time, all day. If both your parents work, they would need to hire someone to take you to auditions as they come up. It's a huge undertaking, be absolutely certain you are ALL ready for it.

You also need to keep your grades up. Actors are not dummies. You need to stay smart so no one can take advantage of you. When you are an actor, you are your own business all rolled up into one person. There are a lot of things you need to know about so remember that and keep your grades up.

Look at my other answer about getting an agent.

Good luck!

Slow Down! First, let's make sure you even need an agent. At 13, you need to be auditioning for everything you can and taking anything you're offered to build that resume, including great parts like "the maid" "third spear carrier from left" and "chorus" An agent will get you an audition someplace where the auditions are not open -- like, say, TV commercials or pilots. But you don't need an agent for summer stock auditions. Don't put the cart before the horse. Walk THEN run. Work on your craft.

Well, of direction. Just be sufferer. Assuming it is a utterly legitimate agent and you will have performed a history verify on them and you will have obvious his/her customers record and realize that he has located books with one of the most gigantic publishing residences. Usually, an agent will ship you a record of instructed alterations. Be sufferer, on the grounds that his different customers come earlier than you and he would be busy - if he is a legitimate agent. You can ship him an e mail and allow him realize that you just desire to grasp time expectancies so you do not force your self loopy ready at your e mail all day for his instructed alterations, and in addition on the grounds that you do not desire to nag him each and every 2 mins. I've heard from a few released writers that it took them a couple of weeks to get a record of instructed alterations from their marketers. So that is usual and also you''ll simply have got to hurry up and wait. It's usual that he may not provide you distinctive main points on the assembly. He'll write up a letter or e mail with the entire instructed alterations and ship it to you, and this would take greater than per week, despite the fact that for all we all know, he would have talked with you 3 days in the past and you are simply being unreasonably impatient. Now, you probably did receive his present of illustration, correct? Just making definite, on the grounds that there are plenty of scammers in the market that appear legitimate if you do not' fully verify them out. You did signal an company contract OR he made it transparent that he wishes to rep you AND you agreed? - there are nonetheless a couple of legitimate company that do not paintings with a agreement. I'm simply asking on the grounds that you are making it appear like he met with you, did not present to symbolize you, however rather stated he'd ship your manuscript off, most often to "scan the waters," earlier than signing you. This is a signal of a rip-off and there is a very recognized scammer who does this. But, I'm definite you are a ready creator who has performed her homework. Congrats at the presents of illustration. I'm jealous. :D desire to exchange me areas? You may have all my badly written manuscripts. Hahah.
