Are liberals, for the most part, MARKETED/PROCESSED??

Question

Many posts that I read on YA seem to point out the difference in many liberals peculiar rationalization process. Again, many but not all liberals that I have/do know seem to be of a "follower" or "group(ie)" mentality. The problem with this mentality is that it leaves such people "open" to being marketed/processed by ones they have chosen to admire/follow. An example of this is the pathetic exploitation of Jane Fonda. The folks that processed her got what THEY wanted & Jane got tubed in the end, with no way back to regain any dignity. Many liberals possess this cultic mentality of circuituous reasoning as they are truly "marketed" by who ever holds sway over them. Once "in the fold" they are simply "processed" to think that the end starts at the beginning & the "endless" quest of reasoning never leaves it's programed path. Many Christians I have known are duped in the same way by "PHP's", or Power Hungry Pastor's. Has any of you experienced this phenomena in liberals before?

First of all I am not a bit impressed with the term of liberal. However, the ones that seem to engage in political sparring I would guess that they marketed/processed on what they think and believe. I don't think they actually think before they open their mouths and that is a sorry shame. As for Jane Fonda, she is an old fart these days and no one I know aspires to her thinking.

I had to read your post twice, because I am not sure what you are talking about. You start off slamming liberals and putting them in a generalized category. Then you mention Jane Fonda, an academy award winning actress who you say "got tubed in the end, with no way back to regain any dignity"

I'm a liberal and no one "processes" me or inducted me "into the herd" You are sadly confusing liberals with conservatives...I've seen more "processed" cons/Repbs with the same old party lines, truth, justice the American way and guns for everyone and if you think outside of that box, you are shunned as a "liberal"

I think for myself as I doubt you do. What happened, Mommy and Daddy take the keys to your car and you're stuck at home with the computer?

You are going to get all sorts of answers on this - most saying that you are wrong - and all because they feel you have "offended" them in some way

The real problem, is that you are rihgt for as far as you take it - you didnt include the right - propaganda is propaganda - both sides of the ailse will throw out their propapganda to try and keep thier rank/file people in thier base.

There is a sucker born every minute - unfortunately most of them ar ein this country instead of being spread across the entire world. All this propaganda from both sides is meant for one thing and one thing only - to keep themselves in power

If someone else - say, a libertarian - get sinto power - then there will be a disruption in the move toward world governance - something the current government and the fed reserve dont want to happen - if it does people might actually wake up to the fact that the are being duped

People dont ever miss anything until te realize that its gone - so government needs to grow to survive and it does so by playing on peoples fear via propaganda. None of what has happened actually happened over night - it took decades to occur - at a slow even pace so that people dont realize that it was happening.

Your question is only coming to light now because Bush has decided to speed up the process and take as muc as he can away from us in as short a time as we would allow....and the people still will let this continue to happen.....more and more of them are waking up - but at way too slow a pace

If there are other like Ron Paul out there - now is th etime to step up and start running...without them we are screwed and it wont matter who markets what as a tyranical government doesnt care since it uses the point of a gun

Hey, if you want to talk groupies and followers, take a look at the Rush Limbaugh Ditto-heads. The concept of being processed, marketed, or brainwashed is not a liberal or a conservative monopoly. Weak-minded people will choose a talking head whose 'flavor' they like, then they will follow that talking head with single-minded devotion. The focus of their devotion might be a politician, a commentator, a pastor, or a local organization head. But the sword cuts both ways.

the most processed people in America are listeners to Conservative hate radio.

Once the "hook them", they no longer have the ability to think for themselves and simply believe every bit of rhetoric they hear from Limbaugh, Hannity, and the others.
