Hannibal ranks up there. Genghis Khan was the greatest in terms of scope and his population program (one out of every 8 people in the WORLD are direct descendants!!!!!). Without a doubt it must be Hitler, all them people brainwashed into the nazi party through his own opinions and motives and to take over that amount of the world hugely outnumbered was a great acheivement. Wot a bad man, btw i really hate for all the humanity crimes the man commited.

You may want to believe the petty conquerors like Genghis khan, Alexander, Stalin, etc. were the greatest. But the really greatest one decimated the whole world many times in order to wipe out human evil. It was God!

It depends on how we define great. Genghis Khan conquered more land than any other individual, did more for his people than any other person, and overcame far greater odds just to survive his youth than anyone else listed here.
