supernatural?

The British Museum did a series of tests on the crystal skulls, three of which were privately owned two belonged to a museum on to the smithsonian and one to the british museum. The tests in question were to find out when the skulls had been made using molds of the skulls to find evidence of carving tools to determine what sort of tools had been used. A similar test was done by hewlett-packard on a skull known as the mitchel-hedges skull and the results of that test proved that no tool marks were to be found. The results of three of the skulls at the british museum including one of the privately owned ones showed different tool marks the museum owned skulls were made by modern tools while the other one was made by both modern and primitive tools. However even though the tests of the other two skulls were observed by their owners the museum refused to tell them the results. Why would these scientists hide the results even from the owners?

why would they think it would scare the world? because it would force them to admit that they can't explain everything?
or because they would have to change their way of thinking as the results of the test go against everything that they know and were taught?

They hide them because the goverment forces them to .
I believe that the goverment has many conspiracies.
The goverment and some scientists hide facts for good and bad reasons.

First bad; They do not want people knowing the truth because it can benefit them financially . They can also expose that they might be using primitive technology or that the said skulls were made for certain purposes.

Good; Sometimes regarding supernatural things the media tends to make a big deal about many things. If the media makes a big commotion there could be riots and some people may wind up getting hurt. Most of the time the media is to blame for "false conspiracies" .
Regarding other supernatural things; If I was a scientist and suddenly discovered something like an alien species , I wouldn't want to tell anyone , except for the people that are really close to me. The reason is because alot of people aren't ready to handle truths and they would use this new species to their own benefits, then the extraterrestrial might get mad and send someone down to destroy us.

Its like If I found out the secret to eternal life I would not tell anybody else because companies might find out about this and use this knowledge for their own advantages.
There are some things human kind should not know. Some secrets are better kept secret.

In this case I believe that the scientists did not want to share the information because to them it would be classified information.Maybe it indicates that there were some civilizations that were almost as advanced as us in the past
I don't know if there is a way of understanding of what truly happened

Science and conspiracy theories work differently.

As scientist, when something happened that makes us believe our results may be inaccurate we do not release the results as we have an ethical obligation only to reveal what we can say was the results of correct and ethical science. The problems can be with the application of the technique or with some interference that makes the results inconclusive.

We've seen what can happened if half-baked ideas is released prematurely.

And a true scientist would release results even if it goes against his personal views.

PS. How do you know if the reports have supposedly been kept secret?

they do this because they don't want to scare the owner, or the world for that matter.
