Middle of the week and I'm not sure if I want to go out and into the crowds or stay home and relax? What are you doing for the 4th?
Where are you if I may ask? I'm in MA.

I find that staying home is more relaxing. It's been my experience that in order to see the fireworks you have to get there at least an hour or two early, and then wait for them to go off, and then when they are done, join the hoards of people who are leaving the same area at the same time. Perhaps the smaller community shows would be better than the major metropolitan areas.

As for me, where I live, fountains and sparklers are legal to have, and I have actually already lit them off. It was quite fun!!!

What's the point of watching fireworks on tv? That's like watching white water rafting or an amusement park on tv, rather than going and actually having fun. Not to say that you should go if you don't want to, but if you don't, at least go have some fun doing something else!

I'm going out to see the fireworks. I live in a relatively small town, and it's still insane. I'm only going to go see the fireworks on the 4th (unless my uncle is having a BBQ again). I live in Michigan
