I have a female guppie that went skinny, I didnt think anything off it because i thot she just had fry, But now she is really skiny, And doesnt eat at all, i tired bloodworms,daphnia,live bloodworm and live brine shrimp, and her normal flakes, she isnt eating and is anorexic, What to do? She also spends most of her time near the top of the tnak., My water parameters are fine.

It's quite possible she was injured or damaged when she had the fry and is now unable to eat or at least unwilling. This is not a really common occurance, but it does happen and can leave no signs other than what you are seeing.

I have had this happen to female guppies after they have given birth. It seems that they get a weakened immune system after birth. Once they start floating near the top and quit eating the end is fairly near. Sorry for the bad news. If she is in a community tank I would certainly separate her out in a plastic or net nursery so the other fish won't pick on her. Have you checked her body to see if she has been picked on or to see if she had the white spots known as ICK on her?

Dude fish cant be anorexic! She'll eat when she gets hungry i have had plenty of guppies with the same problems! Good luck-Maggie
