There was a widely reported story that claimed some research supported the idea that cell phones are responsible for Colony Collapse Disorder. This, however, was based on a poor understanding of the research, and the study authors soon repudiated the story:

Unfortunately, as in many such cases, the initial story was a lot more attractive than the repudiation and got much wider coverage, leading people to erroneously believe that cell phones are responsible. There is no evidence to support this claim.
A mailing list I am on points to stories like this:
http://infowars.net/articles/may2007/110507bees.htm
which point out that no organic bee colonies are suffering from CCD, while commercial colonies are. I'm uncertain how well-studied or verified this is, but if it's true, it suggests that the disappearance should be attributed to some difference between organic and commercial beekeeping.

Here is what we know: More then a quarter of the countries 2.4 million bee colonies have been lost, the loss of tens of billions of bees.
There are many theories as to why the decline in bees, but in truth, scientist have yet to find a definitive answer - Though they're heading in the right direction with a few possibilities coming to light.
Right now findings are pointing to some form of toxin or pathogen, a parasitic fungus called "Nosema ceranae" has been found in affected hives.
The possibility that pesticides in the neonicotinoids group (example, Imidacloprid) is also being studied to see if this is contributing to the problem.
Cell phone towers? There is no scientific evidence to support this claim, it is an urban myth.

There are a lot of missing bees not just in Ohio, but all over the world, due to a phenomenon called Colony Collapse Disorder. Cell phones have been speculated to be the cause, but have not been determined to be the culprit. There are some interesting videos on YouTube about this that you absolutely must watch; see below. This is a SERIOUS concern because there is simply some crops that cannot be farmed without bees.

Yes. And bees are one of the most important insects on the planet. They polinate flowers and plants. Without that polination, the plants don't grow. So other plants and animals die.
I am not a scientist, but the evidence is that radio masts are killing bees.

As I understand it, that is pretty much conjecture at this point. There has been a decline in bees and that is one theory being studied. I don't think they have any real evidence to support it yet.

It has been suggested and studied that cell phone signals that have been increasing steadily in the last decade or so have been scrambling the bees' sense of direction and tracking senses.
