You should be able to. Just insert your memory stick into the port. Then go to the photo's you want to save to the memory stick. When you click 'save as' you should get a box appear with all your locations to save. Just look for the name of the memory stick or the port letter (e.g. Drive C, D, E, etc)

I believe you want to transfer more pictures from your desktop to the memory stick... open my computer, the memory stick will show as Drive X, (X being a letter). Hold down control and click all the photos you want to copy, then right click and copy them, go to the drive X, double click and paste... if that does not work, you might want to format your memory stick after saving all the important info on it to your computer then try again

Toggle the write protect switch. Memory sticks show up as drives within My Computer, and also show up in the Send To right click menu. Drag n Drop, cut N paste, or highlight a group>send to>removable disk X

It depends on the memory stick. In my case, I have four memory sticks. On two of them (Sandisk Cruzers) I use the built-in software to copy "backup selection" folders holding the photos to the memory sticks. On the other two memory sticks, my computer merely recognizes the sticks as external "removable" drives...I just copy either individual photos or entire folders (drag and drop from My Computer window, or the "old-fashioned" way, which is "copy" or "xcopy" from cmd.exe). Get'er done!

First you need to have something that holds the memory card and hooks up to the computer. Some printers now have memory card readers, Extra memory card readers in the computer or DigiCams have them. Once you have it hooked up the computer will read it and it should pop up once you have hooked it all up. If not just go into My Computer Etc. Read Above. Make sure you have something that that reads the memory card and works with your computer.

your memory stick comes as a removable disk on the computer.
Choose the files you want to save to the memory stick, click on 'save as' and pick the removable disk (usualy drive F:) as the target.
You can also drag the files to the drive.

All very good answers. That should do it!
The only thing thats missing is: Do you have enough free space on your memory stick for your additional files? If so, great! The other answers tell you how it's done....mine's the only other thing I thought of (if you're having any other problems!)
