It turns out a women on one of the private boats that was looking for Claire during the storm fished her out of the water and decided to keep her. Someone on the docks remembered seeing Claire with this woman. The witness remembered a logo on the woman's back back. It was for a children's beauty pageant. Belle, Shaun, and Philip caught up to her at one of these pageants where she was passing Claire of as a boy.

philip found some guy who said he saw some chick with a baby that looked just like claire, so they (shawn, philip & bell) went to chicago or some crap like that and found the lady passing off claire as a boy. anyway, the lady denied it and said that was her boy, turns out it was claire and voila! claire's back. =/

Yes she is back but seems to have disappeared again while the trio hash out their living arrangements over drinks at the pub. If I were Belle I wouldn't let her out of my sight - even to go to the bathroom.
