22nd July CPU price drop?

Apparently on 22nd of July there will be a big drop on alot of CPU's?
Im thinking of getting an AMD am2 athlon 64 x2 3800+ 2x2.0ghz

At the moment i can get it for around £40, will it drop to less in a few weeks time (22nd) or not?
And what CPU's will drop the most and will be the best value one (AMD or Intel.)

The price drop is an Intel price drop, so it will not directly affect the AMD price. However, AMD does have a tendency to lower there prices when Intel does in order to stay competitive, so you might consider waiting to see.
