I've tried and I've tried! I wipe off the counter tops twice a day at least and I have sprayed outside the house. They just keep coming back and now they are worse than ever!

get torro ant trap's and set them where you think they are coming from.if you watch them,you can see them take back a bit of food to there colony. keep the counters wiped free of anything sweet. like cookie crumbs,sugar and juice.

Buy little ant traps too;-} put them where you see ants.
They must be smelling food, so check your containers.
What are you using to wipe counters with?
Perhaps you're just spreading the food smell around.
Use a disinfectant like pine or orange oil.

same problem here and i have found that nothing works. i just try to keep all dishes washed and if anybody spills anything i clean it up with mean green.

Feed them more, eventually they will be big sugar ants.
