ok i know how to use a tampon and where its supposed to go but i can't find that dang hole. i can find it fine in the bath tub after searching for a while but i can't insert a tampon after i have gottin out and dried. i can't see it either. so how are you supposed to put a tampon in when you cant find the right place
i've put in prolly 3 or 4 over the past 3 years and the last time i was sucessful was over a year ago. i never try because i get really fustured. i have the slim plastic ones
yes i'm gonna talk to my mom but she isn't home, i'm mature, 15 goning into 11th grade and i play sports
i can look at blood and stuff
so any tricks or helpful hints???

Try the sport ones! Besides that, when I was young, Sit somewhere clean and use a mirror or put or a mirror on the floor and stand above it so you can see better. That's what I did and it helped. It takes some practive and will hurt a little but as a former athlete, it's the only way to go for sports. It will get easier over time, especially the more you use them, and once you're a lot older and have sex then there is NO problem getting them in, but don't do that :). Use the mirror, that's how I learned.

Okay you say you are mature! Here is what you need to do. Go to the bathroom, get you a mirror, lock the door and lay down on the floor (no painties of course) spread your leg and put the mirror in between your legs and with your two fingers spread your lips apart (down there) and look at the reflection on the mirror. That should help you get a general idea of where it's at.

Try feeling around with your finger first. After you do leave one finger there and place the tampon on top of it, then remove your finger and insert the tampon. (A mirror would also work)

Try sitting on the toilet and leaning slightly forward with your legs apart when you're putting in the tampon.
What you can also do is get a hand mirror and hold it one hand so you can see what you're doing when you're putting in the tampon.

use a mirror to look for the hole and its the position you are in try different postions you might find the hole a little more when trying to insert a tampon in
try to squat,stand,sit

I would use a mirror to help you, position yourself on the floor and use it to see where the tampon should be going, the vaginal opening is just below the uretha where you pee from. hope that helps x
