My mother and father where in the military for a long time. They divorced and my father has to pay $310.00 a month. In the divorce decree I keep getting paid every month until I'm 23 years old and in college. The last time I was paid was May 2006! The only way it stops is if I'm marriered or drop out of college. He stop the money cause he thinks I'm not in college, but I have sent him transcripts and report cards every semester. He is a college professioar at USC and a middle school JROTC sargent. He just bilt a house and owns 4 cars. He has cut my brother and sisters child support as well!!

I'm a college student, and he needs to be a real father and pay me, he has told me the only way I get paid is if I take him to court! So, I called Judge Joe Brown, which I'll be taking him to court. They told he I would have to serve him. So how do I serve my father to go to court!!??

The reason there is child support is because a baby CAN NOT WORK to support themselves. You are not a baby. You are over 18. Get your lazy as s a job and stop worrying about the fact that he built a house and owns 4 cars. Get a job and maybe you can own 4 cars one day and a house. I know plenty of people that work full time and go to school full time. Stop begging for money and stop being lazy. I don't care what the decree says. Leave that man alone you leech, you parasite! Instead of calling Judge Joe Brown, why don't you call your local employment office and get a job?

You don't have to go to Judge Joe Brown to get your support. As long as the court order states that if you are in school you will be supported all you have to do is take those papers to court and your father will be held in contempt. Either he will have to pay support or go to jail. Have your mother call her lawyer he can set everything up.

The police can serve him for you. Is he supposed to be paying you directly or your mother? In most cases, it is in the divorce papers how it is supposed to be done. If it is supposed to be paid to your mother, she would have to take him to court.
