Nope.. The electrode on that sector went dead and you can't just replace one electrode in a LCD screen (which contains thousands). I would recommend checking the laptop's warranty to see if they could replace it. If not, you have purchase LCD screen replacement.

Normally, if it is just one pixel... You might have to deal with it since LCD screen is not cheap

i do no longer think of the magnet thingy will paintings. as quickly as the pixel is lifeless, it keeps to be lifeless. so long because of the fact the spot isn't too objectionable and additionally you're able to nonetheless get your stuff finished, i might try to stay with it. As a prior poster pronounced, if the visual exhibit unit is under guarantee, attempt to get it replaced under guarantee. If the visual exhibit unit is previous, and the lifeless aspects are actually not suited, then sell it off for much less high priced and get a sparkling one. somebody will purchase it, no rely if it relatively is far less high priced adequate.

There is really nothing you can do about it. They are permanent. I have one on my LCD that bothers me when the screen is black while watching movies. It glows a bright red. I can live with it.
