Wait it out my friend. Don't force her. When she is ready you will know.

One should never have to 'convince' someone else that sex is ok. If someone has to be convinced, they are NOT ready. You don't say how old either of you are. But I take it you are not 40 and she 35. Sounds more like a teen aged relationship. It's normal for younger people to have more uncertainties about taking a relationship to that level. If she is not comfortable with it, then back off and have some respect for her feelings and fears. When the time is right and she is comfortable with the chosen method of birthcontrol and is comfortable with talking with her parents about being sexually active and whatever other fears she has, then the time will be right. ... Believe me, you talking her into something will not go well in the long run. I been there. ... So just coast for a while. If you care about her, then waiting is 'doable'. Waiting is the mature and caring thing to do. ... And use condoms no matter what. Even if she's on birthcontrol, condoms are necessary. Period.

dump her and move on. If you don't respect her enough to wait and you want to con her into it, then you don't love her. Maybe the one after her will do it. NEXT

wait it out. no convincing needed.
tell her you won't pressure her and will be waiting for when she feels the time is right.
make sure you have condoms/birth control on hand.
