I'm booking a weeks holiday for me and my girlfriend in Las Vegas to celebrate her 40th birthday. Which is the best hotel to stay at? Or should we go elsewhere?

what kind of person is she? If she likes Venice, take her to the Venetian Hotel, or if she likes the circus, go to circus circus. Check out what venues are on in certain hotels she might be interested in and then make up your mind where you want to stay. A lot of people prefer down town to the strip. All the hotels with 4 and five stars are of very good standard. The 3 star hotels are very good too. The whole place is very clean. The very best hotel in my opinion is Mandalay Bay, they even have a wee beach on their grounds. Hope you enjoy your time.

Las Vegas is fantastic so don't think about going anywhere else! I've been twice & I'm going back again in October. In regards to a hotel it really depends on your budget. The Venetian is amazing & really romantic and also Caesar's Palace but these hotels are on the most pricey side but are worth it. Don't miss the Grand Canyon! It is such an amazing place and you will regret it if you don't go. Hope you have a fab time!

Bellagio would probably be the most romantic. However, if you want a better price and still have a nice room I would say try Luxor. Its a very cool hotel.
All of the major ones are good. Mandalay Bay, Luxor, MGM, New York New York, Caesars...

Depends on where you want to go. If you want a pirate theme then go to Treasure Island. If you want to go to King Arthurs court, go to Excalibur.
Fake France, try Paris. Something nice, try the Venetian or Wynn.
All the hotels have their themes and are pretty fun. I don't have a personal favorite as I stay somewhere different everytime I go.

You can't go wrong with any of the big three, Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio, however, a lake view Bellagio room is an unforgettable experience!

The best is Bellagio, I stayed at the Imperial Palace-it was excellent

OMG, you will LOVE it! Stay at the Luxor.....best hotel and not too cheesy...no mirrored ceilings!;)
Have a lovely time and make sure you order the ice cream trolley! It's for 2 people and has 30 different ice creams and millions of toppings for $25! Plus it is in a freezer trolley so it stays cold all day! YIPPEE!!! lol

I have stayed at the Golden Nuggett and New York New York,
both were very nice. You don't spend much time in your room however, because your always out gambling or seeing shows.

it depends on how much you can spend The Wynn Is a very good one, not cheap, or the Golden Nugget, nice downtown but cheaper and not a dump
