Many years ago I was in a situation like yours. My ex-boyfriend, the love of my life, had broken up with me and shortly after disappeared. I did not know he had been drafted and sent to Vietnam. He returned after I had promised to marry someone else - who I loved but not as much. I could not forgive my ex for hurting me so, and for not telling me where he was. So, even though I still loved my ex more than anything, I married the future husband. Now, years later, my ex has returned, apologized, and we have become reacquainted - but now only as friends, because I could never leave my husband,hurt him the way I had been hurt years before. But I will always love my ex more than anything. Don't make the same mistake that I did. PLEASE - take your time to find out who you really love - and marry that one. It's tough to live your life with your second choice only to realize that you should have waited for the first.

Sounds like the choice has already been made. The ex is in the past, and the husband is in the future. This is a no-brainer.
