buying a used good working jacuzzi with a small leak. I would be removing it too. Whats a fair price to offer. But first, is it worth the risk and harm to our (family) bodies?

Depending on the size, how much it will cost to repair the leak and how old it is determines the price. Do a web search for a similar style. Call your local pool and spa to see how much it is to repair the leak.
Jacuzzi is a trademark name.
As far as I know, I have never heard of it being harmful to our bodies.
The temperature is what can do harm. Staying in too long also.

I used to work for a store that sold jacuzzis and I can tell you that there are health risks, especially for small children, with jacuzzis. Having the temperature over 104 degrees can be harmful to internal organs if you stay in too long, but if you use it for no more than 15 minutes each day it is fine and risks are minimal to non-existent. Children are more sensitive to temperature, so you have to be careful. Consult your physician before using one as well.

It's also important to keep the chemicals in check. Bad pH, not too much chlorine or bromine, are what make a spa smell bad and burn skin and eyes...so just a note on that.

As far as price, you would have to search similar styles and ages of spas on eBay most likely to get a fair price.

Good luck!

A jacuzzi is great but purchase a used one, especiall one with a leak, can be more headaches and expensive than you want.
