My ex and I went out more than a year ago for a long time. After we broke up, he got into a relationship that lasted about a year or more. There was alot of drama between me and his girlfriend so i told his girl that out of respect for her i would not talk to him. and i recently found out they broke up. I have been having repeated dreams about him and i feel like i want to message him on myspace or something but i dont know what to say. just to see how he is doing. Just to start all over. we have not talked in like a year and i dont know if this is a good idea. What do you think i should do?

You could start by saying something like, "Hey, I know we haven't talked for a long time, but I heard you and your gf broke up, sorry." Something like that might suit the situation.

Well tell him that you heard he broke up with his recent gf. Then tell him whats on your mind and that you've been thinking about him alot. Then if you want see if he feels the same and wants to get back together.

It Never hurts to say " Hi - How have you been, It's been a long time!" Then go from there. After all he is your friend. Good Luck

He is an ex for a reason. I think that if you just want to catch up then that is fine but you shouldn't go backwards. You should find someone else that is better for you.

And anyway she could come between you andhim when you are dating him and you will feel the same about her.How she felt about you.
