Majority rule can make a proposition valid. Whether it's moral or not is another question entirely.

Um....no. I'm not a fan of moral relativism and think there are definite rights and wrongs in the world. Slavery is one of these wrongs.

No,and that's why democracy is not good,nor is it the same as a constitutional republic we ceased to be in 1865.

no. thats why we have social movements.

and I don't think that a MAJORITY of Americans thought slavery was ok. its just that basically only slave owners could vote.
