maybe he feels that since you two are divorced that you two don't share anything now. That he wants no ties with you. That's the hard thing about being divorced is that you two don't have things like that together any more. Yeah I'd be upset too especially if I paid the bill and got my phone cut off. I'd tell him since you paid the bill that gives you 30 days to find another plan, so just go get on another plan or go with the company that your with now and just get one under your name then that way he doesn't have to share the plan with you and you have one of your own and both are happy.

Well to be honest if he is your ex husband and the divorce is already final...you should have cut that tie a long time ago.
If there are no kids involved and the two of you don't have to continue anything that had something to do with your marriage between you then I would cut off all ties. Still be friends and nice to one another I suppose but don't keep that baggage hanging around.
Free yourself from this......I always like to remind myself
You are not your past.
If you keep stuff like this "phone plan" around you will continue to be your past and not move forward with your life.

Why would you want to stay on the same plan as him, this sounds controlling to me. You got a divorce to get away from him, so the answer is to separate everything. Besides, you no longer legally have the right to alter his contracts, you are divorced. Quit playing games with it, and go your separate ways. Not being mean, just pragmatic.

Wrong about what? Agreed he shouldhave given you a couple of days notice. But the fact is you are divorced and should not be on the same cell plan. Once you divorce, all bills should be seperate.

As long as the bill is now i your name under your own plan. You're ex's now... what is the need for you two to remain connected? Unless well, you have children together. I mean, I understand wanting to keep your number and all, but you can keep your name number on your own account. You really shoud get your own account.

Divorce means separating any ties so if he was paying the plan, he has a right to have you taken off it. However, he should have told you what date you would be taken off the plan.

Yes. You're wrong. You should have taken the initiative and gotten your own plan a long time ago.
Now make sure your bank accounts, credit cards, utilities etc. are in your name only - especially your insurance and investments - ira's, etc. are yours and yours alone.
