While Disneyland is certainly an open target, it does not clearly fit the profile of previous terrorist targets.

Terrorists tend to focus their attacks on objects that personify our world dominance, such as the World Trade Center (financial dominance), the Pentagon (military dominance), and perhaps the Capitol (government dominance - if that indeed was the final target). Disneyland does not project any sort of US dominance over anything, except perhaps exorbitant prices and wastefulness.

Regardless of profile, Disney Corp. must consider themselves a viable target, as the loss of life would be catastrophic. Not having visited a Disney property since the late 90's, I'm unsure of what increased security measures have been implemented.

First terrorist attack since 9-11 ????

Wake up! There's been hundreds and thousands since then. What do you think has been happening in the UK these past few days, for example?

Or do events outside the US not matter?

yea maybe the muslims will dress up in mickey mouse or donald duck mascots, and have bombs strapped underneath.

it would be so weird seeing mickey mouse shouting"allah allah" and then being blown into pieces.

the children would be traumatised...
