You are saying that he left a winner that he built to go back some place that already fired him for not winning with inferior talent to try and lose again with inferior talent? I do not think so, I think he just got burnt out and had one too many conflicts with management and Ichiro to be able to stay.

Hargrove is under contract to the Mariners through the end of 2007. If he wanted to manage the O's he'd have to get permission from Seattle, and there is no chance that permission would be given.

i dont think so. he gave his reason for resigning as "loss of passion"
hes probably kinda sick of managing (considering he hasnt coached a winning team since his W.S. Indians in 1997)
after taking the rest of the season off he'll be back managing in 08, maybe the O's, or i can see him with the Rangers
