There is not a one license to practice in multiple states. You need to get licenses in those states. I am currently licensed in CT and MA. I initially got my CT license then my MA. I pay only about 20 bucks a year for my MA license. I didn't have to go through the classes or take any test because they are reciprocal states.

You take the national test once. Then you can take tests for individual states that have reciprocal license agreements with your home state. The "state" portion of the test is usually not very difficult and you can find study books online to prepare. You then carry multiple licenses, which means keeping up woth CE requirements for each state as well as license dues.
