Whirlpool Products are so dependable why are G.E. products such junk?

I agree. I just had to return their 5.8 digital phone. Horrible clarity. Here I thought, "GE, it has to be good." Wrong!
I think GE just too big for themselves and really don't care about quality anymore.
It's just all in the name.
Oh, and my sister in law had the whole GE line put in her new kitchen and in two years, things started to fall apart and not work properly. Yes, still under warranty, but the hassel of calling them in.
I rather use, another brand.

I have had no issues with the G.E. appliances I've had and I'm putting G.E. Profile and Monogram lines in the new home we're building. Anything could be a lemon I suppose from time to time but so far, I have had no complaints.

G.E. as a whole is more worried about bottom line than name. They are falling apart on everything they are involved in including medical equipment.

Because their main business is armaments - they couldn't care less about their line of consumer products.
