I usually can't watch it that long if it's on. I guess it has become a little more boring for me.. depends on my mood. I wish they would start making Simpons with the kids grown up.. it would be a little more interesting. I do prefer Family Guy over the Simpsons these days, just because they have more adult humor, and it is far more entertaining in my opinion.

The Simpsons have been on for 20 years (including tracy ullman) so if they haven't become boring in 20 years I doubt it will ever happen.

I don't thnk it's boring, but I do think it's starting to run out of steam. After 400-odd episodes, how many more story ideas are they going to come up with? I know this sounds like it could come from someone with a limited imagination, but still, I have to wonder.

Already has

I can't stand new simpsons, they are so awful. The writers clearly struggle to come up with new episodes. I wish they'd ended it years ago.

personally, i think it already has. as for the movie, who knows if it will be funny or not, but Matt Groening always said he wouldn't do a movie until the series is over. So now there's a movie, the show's in it's 17th year... it might be time to say goodbye.
