i had 2 silver sharks which i found dead this morning and cannot figure out why. i know they are skinned fish as apposed to scaled and are sensitive to water quality changes but my water has always been perfect. so, any suggestions as to why they died? i do have a large crayfish but the sharks have always been in there with him and had no marks at all on there bodies

Since both died at the same time, I would suggest it's due to a anvironmental problem instead of disease. There are any number of problems that could be responsible from poor water quality, to something poisonous in the tank to the tank getting too warm or too cool. Honestly it's often impossible to track downthe reason a fish died after the fact.

i would have put it down to the crayfish vicious little beggers lol but you say they have never been a problem between them then it cant be.
Must just be disease.
Any white marks on them or distinguishing things that seem unusual?

Since you specify that yours are scaleless, I wonder if these might be Colombian sharks (a species of catfish): http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/328.htm

These require salt in their water - brackish as juveniles increasing in salinity to marine tanks as adults.
