Errr! am I missing something here?

These terrorists the other day...the char grilled ones...they try to blow us up, try to kill us and then we pay to make them better through paying our taxes and there they are in our much needed hospital beds. What should happen to them? I know Im up for being slagged off for being racist (which Iam NOT!)but lets face it...it don't seem right does it!

No it doesn't seem right, but if by saving them and making them well enough for intensive interrogation the security forces may be able to access information that may reveal other cells.

We always pay to help other nations cast offs, a lot of people have taken a lot of money and property for virtually no effort from this country, why? because they can! Why? Because we as a nation allow it, then, we get bombed for the privelage, it has to be said though, that if extremists were the norm, there would not be many of our natives (english whites) left. Some of the talk on here will help towards a civil war probably within the next ten years.

I think these types must need to live elsewhere where they will be happy enough not to maim and kill, to bomb etc.
There's a lotta sick people in this world and the sooner they find their happy place the better. Yet it obviously is not here.
Give them an island to inhabit then the world powers can offer to help them-----sharing the problem
I refuse to use the word terrorist---prefering to see the problem and the need to get rid of it.

Right is the ability to behave in an humane way, this means putting aside the fact that they were trying to maim and kill and treat them with respect.
Once they are well they will be taken through the courts costing the country thousands of pounds and when found guilty we will then keep them in prison giving them all the benifits and treating them again with respect. Again costing thousands.
I wish we weren't quite so humane and civilised.

I guess saving them is the last thing these misled terrorists want. They don't want to have to stand trial and sentencing.
They think death is a reward for their dirty deeds.

They may proof to be somewhat valuable for information during an grueling interrogation.

So in a way ...would it not be torcher for them to have to live long enough to face the consequences of what they had done,rather than let them escape it?

They have to be nice and healthy so they don't sue anyone for treating them badly, which they probably will anyway.

I suppose the police want them to be okay to get information from them, but I honestly wouldn't be too bothered if the police had shot them.

It isn't a question of race anyway, it's a question of how exactly do you deal with total strangers who want to kill you merely because you are you.

well quite apart from the 'if we let the guy die we are bringing ourselves down to his level' argument, there is also the pragmatic 'if he's alive he can talk and give intelligence, dead he's no use at all' argument.

I would always opt for the former, but the latter has validity too
