In a special report, the group Clean Up Washington listed Paul as taking the seventh-least amount of money from PACs of all members of the House, as well as one of the members of Congress accepting the least amount of money from lobbyists and as ranking fourth in taking the most percentage of contributions from small donors. Their data studied contributions from the 2000 election cycle to midway through 2006

I would've likely voted for Paul 10 years ago. The man has an unparalleled head of common sense on his shoulders for economic/domestic issues.

However, whether we like it or not, the world has become a volatile place to live. Blame in on Bush, Bin Laden, Saddam, Ahmadinejad(sp?), or anyone you want to, the truth is still there. We are war with those whose intolerance and hatred makes them want to kill and kill and kill. I want somebody with experience, intelligence, and diplomacy in international affairs, as well as somebody who won't ignore what's going on inside our borders.

So far, I'm seeing a lot of one or the other, but I haven't seen the whole package, so I'm still undecided... good thing I still have several months to study the candidates and decide.

He has no chance on the Republican ticket. All parties have a list of ideologies you must adhere to, and all people believe what they are told to believe. Sad, but true

He has my vote.
I doubt he will make it through the primaries, but I will write him in in the general election. It's time for someone who will put America first instead of corporate interests.
