Nobody can relate to Hillary because nobody has any idea of who she is. She's like some kind of demented chameleon and she changes her viewpoint every time she changes her underwear.

Hi, I'm from Arkansas and have lived in Little Rock for a while now. People down here are more worried about the Razorbacks than terrorism or politics but beyond that I will say this.. we understand the way she speaks and we understand the accent coming out from time to time. Other than that she is regarded as any other politician would be. She has to earn our vote. Now obviously I can't speak for everyone in this town or state and there are many that would have different opinions to either side of that.. but for the most part that is how I and my friends feel on the issue.

I live in Chicago and in no way do I relate to Hillary as a local. Just because she went to high school in this area doesn't endear her any more to me. On the similar note, I don't even feel anything for Obama, I guess that he is supposed to be a Senator from my state, yet I feel that he is more interested in a presidential candidacy than he is in Illinois' legislature. I am more concerned about each potential candidates viewpoints than I am concerned with: where they were born, went to school, are presently residing, their race or gender... those things don't come into play at all. It bothers me when the candidates try to act like locals when they are campaigning, it reeks of emptyness of issues.

Apparently locality doesn't matter. Bear in mind that in 2000 Al Gore lost his own state of Tennessee.

Must you be a petty hatemonger?

I suppose Bush being from Connecticut, AND West Texas, AND Kennebunkport is any better.
