I'm not a wrestling fan, I used to be one, but when I was listening to the Herd(an Espn rado talk show) the guy said that he used the crippler crossface on his son. Is that really true?

As the story is unfolding it does look like he used this move to kill his son. They said he choked his wife with an extention cord or phone cord of some kind.
It is a bad event that will stick with people for the rest of their lives. He was admired by many, but he is now looked at as a murder...
It's a shame!

The crippler crossface thing is a rumor that's going around as a result of a couple of bad jokes on some talk shows. The official word from the police is that he simply suffocated his son and bound and strangled his wife. There were no wrestling moves, as far as the cops know. It is all just speculation because he was a wrestler.

first they said Benoit smothered his son (with a pillow maybe), then they said he put him in a headlock, now they are saying he put him in the crippler crossface.... they keep changing it so its hard to figure out whats true. honestly I dont care about the details. he killed his innocent son thats all that matters

we don't know! one thing for sure: chris benoit is a coward and murderer for doing what he did and deserves no respect from wwe! in fact, vince mchmahon ordered everything associated with benoit taken down! he will not make the wwe hall of fame for his cowardly actions!! maybe one of gods angels is GIVING HIM!! that is what they are saying but i don't think it is anyone that has watched Chris for years and worked with him could have done that to the little boy.
they have changed the story so many times they don't know what they are talking about. my friend has never watched a day of the wwe in her life and we were talking about and she said the facts don't add up in the case she has never heard of Chris Benoit before until now. there is something fishy going on in this case

that's a ridiculous notion. he strangled his wife with a power cord and suffocated his son...probably with a pillow. that radio station sounds like it's staffed with morons that have no sense of good taste.

I don't know much about the situation but if he did or anyone did that to his son they are sick!!! He is a child who can't do anything to fight someone off.
