Smoking; the right to smoke in a public bar versus the right to have a night out without smelling like an old ashtray. Passive smoking; is the effect over dramatised?
Sex before marriage versus celibacy until married.
One parent families, is the impact of not having a family unit the cause of anti social behaviour.

is honesty aways the best policy
yes - where there is a wrongdoing i.e.
if someone lies to get a job, or wheret hey have done something mean to hurt somebody
- where you will help someone by telling the truth i.e.
if someone has stolen something and you know who it is
no - where the person would be negatively affected i.e.
the holocaust where people lied to keep others alive....
and surprise parties
- if there is a nasty secret/rumour about someone that would hurt them if they knew
these are just some of the pros and cons. you can expand and give more examples

Hmmmm I did something like this at school. We ended up doing fox hunting, if you get on a search engine you'll find loads of for and against stuff. You could print of a gory picture to pass around too, that had a big impact on people during ours

How will this smoking ban affect our economy?
A) Will it save us money through less people smoking, and therefore needing less NHS treatment.
B) Will it cost the government money due to a major loss in tax on cigarettes, and alcohol due to less people going out drinking.
C) If the goverment does have a major shortfall in taxes over the next few years, what taxes will they raise to compensate.
