how do i find the PPPoE user name and password?

i have vista
i do not know my ip

PPPoe is assigned by your ISP so if you don't have that information you will have to contact them..

Like with AT&T dsl (SBC etc) it is your email address and your password. What you use is all dependant upon what the ISP specifies.

You need to contact the ISP, they should have sent you documentation when you subscribed to the broadband, and the details should also be on this.
