Wow.
Make no accusations but make it clear what is not acceptable and then, if it continues......
Catch her (or the guilty culprit) red handed......
Coat the caps (and/or sides of the bottles) with some kind of transferrable ink that will stain her hands if she opens a bottle.
Be prudent, too. Ideally, you should have your booze locked up.
Good luck!

I have plenty of ideas for not only finding out but also for fixing the problem once for all.Right now I am hesitant in passing on the ideas to a person who can't even handle his/her booze.Any way,mix a strong purgative with the booze and let her have a Go at it.There after you can leave your bottles right on the dining table or anywhere and rest assured of their contents.

I would either mark a line like some have said or the camera thing would be a good thing too...also..my bff and I when we were young and dumb used to get into her mom and dads stuff and fill the vodka back up with water...yeah dumb huh..or I think we used stuff we didn't like to fill up the other containers with the same color of liquid...lol...if it is something you can do get some older bottles and fill them up with something that is NOT liquor and see what happens use water and something that tastes really groce to flavor it with or water and bright food coloring put all your good stuff up or get a locked cabinet to put it all in. Maybe she will get the hint if she is really doing it! Hope you find out!

There are other ways. They have hidden cameras which have been used very successfully in fighting abuse and stealing. It can be hidden very easily and hooked up for use fairly quickly. Just set it up so it is pointing at the liquor cabinet and wait for more booze to disappear. Just dont be surprised at what you find

I would probably mark it with a very discrete line on the bottle...maybe on the back of the label. I wouldn't bring the issue up to her, unless, and until you are sure that she is the one who has been taking it. At that point, get rid of her so she wont be stealing anything else from you!

Marking the fill line is a good idea. Also, take empty bottles and fill them full of water. She should get the idea when she slugs back some good ol' H2O..

draw lines on the bottles to represent the amount that was in there. Then check it after she cleans to see if it moves. Good Luck to you!
