From the big bang came the universe with all of its complexities and from all of the complexities made there shall be questions and my question is could there be one universe that allows friction to create a fire and another universe that allows you to create a fire in a totally different way? Basically what I am asking is could there be more than one universe?

Hi. Here is one way to picture it. Suppose you travel and come to a fork in the road. You decide to go one way. This brings you into a universe where you turned this way. Or you decide to go the other way and move into a universe where you turned that way. Both are just as likely, and in an infinite universe then both of these MUST exist someplace. "Infinite" is an impossible concept to get your mind around. There must also be a universe (not a star system) where you did not ask this question but everything else that has ever happened, or ever will, is the same. My answer is probably.

There are many possibilities for other universes,

Different Dimensions, the idea sprouts from the large amount of space between the electron cloud and the nucleus of the atom, possibly enough space to house the atoms of another universe/dimension.

Computer Simulations, think matrix here, a civilization creates a computer simulated universe complete with Earth, that simulation creates a simulation and so on and so forth.

Multiverse, a set of universes connected by space and time. For example, matter that falls into a black hole in our universe could emerge as a Big Bang, starting another universe.

So to answer your question, yes and no. While there are many theories out there almost none can be tested, therefore they cannot be accepted by science.

Many people believe that ours is one of trillions of universes. Our universe may have originated in an exploding black hole in another universe, producing the Big Bang.

There could other universes. Einstein suggested that one universe could bee filled with tachyons and their speed would have to be faster than the speed of light.

I would like to believe there is. I personally believe our universe exist so why can't others? Others in their different forms and the culture of it's inhabitants.

Could there be more than one universe? Sure, I suppose so.

Is there any evidence to that effect? No.

Yes, in theory. Though by definition it would be outside our universe, and as such we would never have any way of even knowing it was there.
