Okay you know how at the end Rose has children?? (Old Rose)
Well who was the husband then? If she married some one else then at the end... When Rose is on the spirit of the Titanic with ghost Jack, then the guy who she married would be like "Rose you cheated on me!" Then him and Jack would get in a fight ect.
So did she marry some one else?
P.s. I know it's not real and just a movie!! I'm only wondering.... Maybe James Cameron didn't it threw?

Rose was 16 on Titanic.
She was 101 when she 'went back' to Titanic.
If Jack had gotten her pregnant, her 'son OR daughter' would have been 85 years old the day old Rose died. All we know is she had a 'least one' GRAND-DAUGHTER who was obviously about 30 years old. That means her parent (from Rose) had to be 55 when she was pregnant IF JACK WAS HER FATHER! LOL! SO NO WAY could Jack & Rose have had a baby together! Especially, then at that day and age, Rose would've had to hide out FOREVER from society.
Rose could have loved her husband just as much as she did Jack. If IS possible and common for a person to 'really fall in love' more than just once in a lifetime. I think the ending was a dreamstate she was going through on her bridge between life and death.
For those of you who actually think she met Jack again on Titanic and are wondering where her husband is, well maybe her husband went to Heaven when he died. Rose went to Titanic. This question has me slipping into Hell...LOL!

You just touched on something that I really didn't like about that movie. She knew Jack for what...3 - 4 days? And she married someone and loved him forever. He died, after they had a seemingly wonderful (possibly 40-50 year)marriage together, and she drops to the bottom and who does she go to??? The dude that had 4 days of influence and a romp in a car with her.
Everytime that I see that movie I always think of the husband that gave everything for her and she stabbed him in the back and went for Jack at the end. Sure it made the movie, but it still bugs me. Poor guy.

Rose changed her name to Dawson, lived in California where she was working as an actress, she meets a man (who they name in the movie, but it currently escapes me) and they move to Cedar Rapids. The woman in the movie helping her was her grand daughter. So if Rose did end up having a child of Jack's from their one night stand, it's never hinted at or established in the film. After all, "a woman's hear is a deep ocean of secrets".
And she met Jack in the end because they were true loves and belonged together.

I am not sure if Jack was the father, but do know that as Jack was dying he told her to be married, and have babies, and grandbabies, and tahts what she did. Poor girl. Lost the love of her life.

i don't think jack was the father of that child, she went on with her life and married another man, had a nice life with him but not with the passion her and jack shared, so she saw him at the end instead of her late husband. i'm pretty sure it is explained in the movie

yes she did get married and had a happy life just as Jack told her to. And the reason she went to jack at the end of themovie was because he was her true love.

Well Rose had children with an anonmous (sp?) man but she really loved Jack all along! Jack was her first love and she really wanted to be with him but instead he died!! CRYYYYY!! I mean Jack told her to have lots of babies but when she dies at the end she was going to be in peace with her actual love, Jack. Her baby's daddy was just a fill-in really for Jack.

It didn't say who she married later, it was just someone she met after the titanic incident. and she wasn't there with Ghosts....she was having a dream. and besides you never forget your first love....so i think Rose's hubby would understand that she loved him too...but Jack will always have a special place in her heart..

Jack was her father. She only had the one daughter. She may have gotten married after the Titanic sank but he was dead by then too. Jack was the love of her life. I don't think her husband (not Jack) thought it mattered. Not everyone condemns someone for having a child out of wedlock.
