As we know Velocity of light is 3x10^8 m/s. So if we convert it in km then 3x10^8/10^3 =3x10^5 Km/s

Now light travels 3x10^5 km in 1 second.
or we say light travels 1km in 1/3x10^5 second.

Finally to travel 1.50 x 10^8 km is 1.50 x 10^8/3 x 10^5 seconds
=500 Seconds
=500/60=8.3minutes

The time for a Ray of Sun Light to reach a point on the Earth is a function of the observation angle.
Also how close is the earth to the Sun which is also variable.

Based on the average radius of the Sun center of mass to the Earths center of mass, and the average aproximate speed of light is 3x10^8 meters/seconds,we can calculate the time of the light ray to reach the earth.
The Travel time of the light ray emitted by the Sun to reach the earth varies between 8 minute to 10.8 minutes relative to the frame of reference taken from the Center of mass of the Sun.

rate * time = distance

time = distance / c

c = 3 * 10^8 m/s = 3 * 10^5 km/s

Do the division--get about 500s
Convert the seconds to minutes (ie, multiply by:
1 minute / 60 seconds)
get 8 1/3 minutes

There are only a few who are going to heaven to rule over ones who are left on the earth. Revelation 14:1-4 says that is 144,000. There will be ones who never die, and that are brought back to life that live on the earth forever(john 5:28,29)(Psalms 37:9,10,29) The ones in heaven will rule with Jesus over the ones on the earth. These rulers along with Jesus make up God's Kingdom. Yes, it is an actual government, just like every country has a government,.

Well .....
Velocity = Distance / Time
since, C ( speed of the light ) = 299792458 m/s
Time = (1.5 x 10^8 Km)*(1000 m/Km) / (299792458 m/Sec * 60 Sec/Min) = T Minutes
U Figure out the Result .... :)

Speed of light = 3.0x10^8 m/s = 3.0x10^5 km/s
1.50x10^8 km / 3.0x10^5 km/s = 500 s
500 s * 1 minute / 60 seconds = 8.333 minutes

8 minutes or thereabouts. You know the speed of light, right? And you know distance, right? So use simple linear velocity equations to calculate time.
