I have just gotten my first pay as you go cell phone, a Nokia6061. The battery ran down yesterday, and even though it has been on the charger, it is still dead. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hiya! Audie. Its the charger that is the problem. I have had 4 exchanges since last Nov! My dealer said that certain Nokia chargers have a generic fault! Im using the Nokia 6280!

Check to make sure it is charging.
Take the battery out and put it back in.
If it still not working and you just got it return the phone.

Go back to the store you got it from and ask them what is going on and ask for a new battery or ask to exchange your phone.

if it's still dead than maybe you should go back to the store you got it from and ask them what's the problem
and ask for a new battery if they couldn't fix it.....
