Life, meaning life.
If you're going to have hanging, it should be as a deterrent as well as revenge. But I can't see hanging putting these guys off their suicide stroke.
Anyway, there'd be something very depressing about bombings and attacks of one sort or another, innocent deaths by shooting and explosion, interspersed by a whole series of hangings, twice a week maybe.
Bombings and hangings, bombings and hangings ...
Let's just put them away and keep them there.

Until it's time for them to be released as part of a peace deal ...

They should be hanged or put against the wall. But this won't happen. If they wouldn't hang the IRA terrorists why would they hang this lot?

PS They should have hanged the IRA terrorists IMO

this may sound harsh, but bring back hanging. I think our country is way too soft on terrorism, and terrorists do not deserve to live - if they were planning on killing themselves anyway, and so many innocent people, what gives them the right to live?

I live in Glasgow, the three terrorists arrested for trying to blow up Glasgow airport, were doctors.
I would give them life in jail.

i would give full life term sentencing
but we also have to ask why are people driven to the act of suicide bombing
and are we (the west) justified in vaporising thousands of people during the bombing of Iraq
yes dictators must be brought to justice but ask why usa do not sign the human rights treaty

Would depend if they were truly given a fair and impartial trial - as, in the past people have been railroaded in UK courts, and competent counsel.

I think they need to be introduced to the nature of life in the elements that cross our land. for example; The tornado, hurricane , floods and forest fires. treat it like an obstacle course they would have to get through and when they reach the end of allotted days to go through with it then we could have a serious talk about what really matters in survival and life.
