And what should such a guy do about it?
Something/anything/nothing?

I think I'm such a guy. My age is early 30s.

(it was suggested that I try asking in this category.)

Crazy? maybe, maybe not.

I'd suggest that you find a counsellor specialising in gender issues. He or she will be able to help you decide who you are.

No, it is not crazy. It is what is known as being trapped in the wrong in the body, basically identifying with the gender opposite of the one you are born with.

You might want to consider sexual reassignment surgery, which requires one to undergo extensive counseling before it, and involves taking hormone to correct the imbalances and prepare the body for such a surgery.

You are not crazy but most arrangements for going transgender will stipulate that you have numerous proper psychiatric assessments. This is so medical authorities know for sure that you don't just want to become a woman because you dont want to be gay. You must demonstrate that you genuinely believe you are female inside.
You may have to live as a woman for a period of time before surgery is administered.
Your age is not important. Many people have changed their sex in later life, although this may be because it can be a very expensive process.

It's not crazy, but by society standards, it's not acceptable. If they want to be a girl, than most likely they have always wanted to be one. They feel as if they were born in the wrong gender. They can start their transition in many ways. They can start by dressing as a woman, they can also see a doctor and start hormone therapy. I know there are web sites that can tell you more about this.

HELL NO !!! I myself am a Tgirl...a crossdresser if you will....and there is NOTHING wrong with wanting to explore your feminine side...there are going to be people who will think you are a "freak" or a "weirdo" so you have to be mentally prepared for this...

I own and operate a Tgirl Social Group called SISTERS and I help a lot of people who have the same situation as you do...a lot of guys have wondered what it would be like to be the opposite gender...you are NOT the only one...so there is NOTHING wrong with you...but even if you act upon it it is your body and your decision...if you EVER need to talk to anyone please know that I am here for you !!!

Also, you might want to consider talking to a GENDER THERAPIST in your area about these feelings...they can help you to get in touch with why you feel this way and if becoming the opposite gender is what you really want...

It is not crazy for a guy to want to be a girl. Just make sure of why you want this change. If you just want to wear clothing that is worn by women, there is no need for a sex change. If you want to have the parts belonging to a woman, then a sex change is a serious thought for you.

I am a leader in the men's fashion freedom movement. Men wore skirts and dresses, tights and heels and even makeup for thousands of years and suddenly in the 1900s men lost their fashion freedom. It is time for men to feel free to wear what they want to wear, just like women do today.

Take care,
Troy

No, thats called being a transsexual, hormone therapy, breast implant and genital reconstruction surgery are all available, but you may have to talk to a therapist first to get them so he can give you a sort of "doctor's note", google the phrase "gender transition" and see if any local resources come up for you

Well, just go and explore those cross-gender feelings and learn a little more about yourself and just live however you're comfortable in every aspect of your life. There could be a wide variety of reasons behind those feelings and many, many paths before you to choose from.
