Uncle T. what is it w/ u?
I mean really, everytime u answer 1 of my Q's lately, u r either rude, obnoxious or just dumb. I really would like an answer, but, coming from u, it'd probably be dumb, ridiculious, rude, unthoughtful. So u don't have to bother, really.
b-t-w there was NO warning label on the movie case....that it was disgusting; about something PAGAN, And that is NOT appropiate for Children, unless of course u want ur lil 1 seeing /knowing these disgusting things.

Ask around and see if friends or someone they know would trade with you. Put it on ebay or halfprice or something of that nature. Have you asked the place where you purchased it if you can exchange it for another DVD? Some won't give $$ but they will exchange.

This is a dishonest, but will work depending on where you live/what store you bought it from:
1) Take the DVD back to the store where you bought it [at a different time when different salespeople are working] and tell them that it doesn't work (Say it stalls in the middle or something) and you want to exchange.
***They will give you another NEW [hopefully, unopened] copy***
2) Take THAT one and return it at another location of the same store and ge a REFUND.
***I know that this will NOT work at Best Buy because they now open movies and cd's before they exchange. ***
Worse case scenario, they do open it and you get stuck with the movie. Worth a shot though if you have the time.

A store that gives credit for pre-owned DVD's is one option. Another is to have a yard sale and put it out with the other items. It's easier than eBay. Good luck!

I used to work at a video store and they are all straight out of hell! They will never ever give you your money back for anything... The best thing to do is sell it on eBay, or rent one she does like return it with the crap one and hope they never notice...

because of copying as u mentioned no electronic store will take back open merch., best bet to get some money is try and sell it to a place that buys and sells used, like a fye, or a wherehouse music

,You may be out in the cold here. If there is something wrong with it they have to take it back. I've never heard of them taking it back cause someone didn't like it. If you have the receipt and tried with it, and they said no, you're out the $ I think.

You will have to sell it back to someone. Stores only take movies back if they are unopened and sealed.

Why should the store give your money back?
Did they say 'satisfaction garanteed'?
What could it have cost you?
$20,00 at the most?
Chalk it up to experience.
Take the hit.
