14 huh well here is the information but thats a little young you'd need your parents either option you go with.
If you are planning on the sidekick 3 I would recommend the Contract. The SK3 itself costs more with a prepaid plan around $349 I believe. There It also costs a $1 a day if you use it or not so after 30 days it would cost $30. And thats just for having the sidekick you will get unlimited internet and text messaging however. And it is .15 a minute for voice calls including voicemail.

Now if you get a plan you can get the lowest package and add the sidekick plan for $20 a month it will cost a little more but if you ever plan on making any calls then I would go this route. If you are just going to use it for AIM and internet and texting then pay the $1 a day prepaid.

It depends on how much you use it. With a contract the money is due every month. You get more minutes for your money and you pay more for More minute. Prepaid you get less minutes for your money but your payment is only due when you have the money to pay and then your phone is turn back on without any penalty's or late fees.

Prepaids are awesome, if you don't use your phone much.
If you buy the phone with birthday money, how will you pay the contract fee monthly $40 plus ? (for 2 years?)

Prepaid phones are best for people who talk to the point!
