Some of my favorites include -

radiohead - creep
finger eleven - quicksand
goo goo dolls - iris
311 - all mixed up

It's been a long time since I've heard really good alternative music and I miss it. Just trying to jog my memory about what was out there. What are you favorites? Feel free to offer more than 1 or 2.

If you feel the need to list 20 songs, feel free and do so. I'm basically trying to collect all the good songs I can remember.

It doesn't matter how commercial they were. As long as they were good. Not like today's cookie cutter bands...I swear I hear the same song 20 dif times by 20 dif bands...

Geez! I miss that type of music as well. Ah...back in the day when people actually wrote songs and played their own instruments!
I like anything by Blind Melon, Soul Asylum, Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, Primitive Radio Gods, Blessed Union of Soul, Matchbox 20, etc.
(IDK - are they too commercial? lol)
